fine art reproduction
Reproducing your artwork is a valuable and logical part of growing as an artist. Essentials for artists can include items as small as
business cards to items as large as displays, all of which can include the artwork of the artist. We can assist you in incorporating
your artwork into your marketing materials.
Reproduction starts with a
professional camera and lighting
appropriate for the artwork. To
preserve as many details as possible,
digital images are captured using raw
format and stored as either .tif or .psd
formats. We recognize that each piece
of artwork may present challenges of
its own, and we are committed to
meeting those challenges.
Whether your art is full of colors or
even monochromatic, we can provide
you with excellent color accuracy. The
hues and tones artists use often go
beyond the color spectrum of
computers and printers. Therefore, no
set "recipe" applies to all artwork, other
than time and patience. Numerous
fine adjustments are required in order
to present you with a final product
with colors as close as possible to your
original.
Your giclees (pronouced zee-clay), or
fine art prints, are created using a
professional Epson printer with
pigment inks and Epson archival art
papers. Since the Epson company
leads the way in the fine art printing
industry, we choose to use only their
inks and papers, no substitutions.
